MaiaGrazing is making waves in the USA recently signing on Bison ranches and a cattle ranch. Durham Ranch situated in Wyoming has recently signed on as MaiaGrazing’s latest user. The ranch covers 55,000 acres and carries over 3,000 bison, has been in the Flocchini family for three generations and remains one of the largest bison operations in North America.
They have been practising sustainable management practices and are founding principles, which they have used for decades. With the help of MaiaGrazing Durham Ranch can maintain their pasture conditions by predicting how it will behave in response to different conditions and scenarios, giving true decision support based on what will happen in the future, rather than reporting on what has happened in the past.
Roland Kroos from Crossroads Ranch Consulting who has been working with Durham Ranch says, “MaiaGrazing makes it so easy for ranchers to capture their grazing records and plan for success. MaiaGrazing is the game-changing software the grass fed livestock industry has been waiting for.”
Maia Technology will be attending the International Bison Conference in Montana in July…keep your eye out for our next newsletter for the story.
